Network Critical to Demonstrate New Web Interface

Network Critical, the creator of the leading enterprise access technology solutions, will be displaying the newest features to their Smart Network Access System at Interop Las Vegas this year. The new features include an easy to use web interface for configuring and administering the system as well as filtering capabilities and SNMP alerts. Interop Las Vegas will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from Sunday, May 17th – Thursday, May 21st, 2009. Network Critical will be in booth 909.
Network Critical representatives will be at the exposition demonstrating the capabilities available with the new web interface for the Smart Network Access System. Some of the capabilities include configuring modules, configuring backplane traffic and other administrative tasks. Additionally, they will demonstrate how SNMP traps can be used to allow users to track and monitor what is happening with their attached network tools.
The web interface also introduces the ability to filter traffic passing through the TAP before it is sent out the monitoring ports. Users can create hundreds of filters on Layer 2, 3 or 4 traffic. This provides the ability to send only the necessary traffic to attached monitoring tools. Once filtered, the traffic can be aggregated together or regenerated to many output ports. The new filtering feature provides even more flexibility to the Smart Network Access System.
