Critical ConneX and CriticalTAP Products Given Lab Approved Rating by SC Magazine

SC Magazine, the pre-eminent monthly publication for IT security professionals, has awarded Network Critical with a Lab Approved distinction for their line of CriticalConneX chassis and CriticalTAP modules.

Lab Approved is awarded to extraordinary standouts that fit into the SC Lab environment, and which will be used subsequently in the test bench for the coming year.

Peter Stephenson, Technology Editor for SC Magazine tested Network Critical’s line of CriticalConneX chassis along with the configurable and modular CriticalTAP system. Stephenson found that the Network Critical products worked well in a variety of different situations. He preferred using the CriticalTAPs (Traffic Access Points) to spanning in many situations.

He also commented on the ease and cost-effectiveness of the modular designs of the Network Critical products. “We really liked the modular approach,” Stephenson said. “Having modular tools such as this one allows one to change on a dime for not a lot more money.”
